IM3000 Visitor Center - Defense ID®

The IM3000 Visitor/Vendor Control Center makes it easier to process visitors and vendors. The system pre-populates fields, takes photos, runs instant background checks, prints badges and allows the user to control visitors or vendors access by date, time, location or FPCON. It scans government issued ID cards to pre-populate badge fields to print FIPS-201 badges or, via linking technology, allows the visitor or vendor to use their existing military ID or drivers license as their badge. An instant background check is performed on the applicant. No need to wait six to eight weeks for results. The user can select to restrict access by date, time, location and FPCON. Defense ID handhelds link to the IM3000 database and display registration photo whenever the ID card is scanned. The IM3500 Secure Web-Services option allows visitors to pre-register with their sponsor via a secure, online process speeding registration. The IM3000 station is comprised of advanced software, desktop computer, 2D barcode imager, ID camera, badge printer, connectors, cables and a starter kit of badge supplies. The IM3000 Visitor/Vendor Control Center gives full positive-access control and provides a complete security system when coupled with the IM2500 Sentry Handheld.
