Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist with at least 2-4 years of experience.
The ideal Data Scientist candidate is:
- Forward-thinking: You consistently research and evaluate emerging technologies. You stay current on published state-of-the-art methods, technologies, and applications by seeking opportunities to apply them.
- Technical: You’re comfortable with open-source languages and are passionate about developing further. You have hands-on experience developing data science solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.
- Statistical: You’ve built machine learning models from start to finish. You have experience with various techniques such as classification, clustering, time series, and neural networks.
- A data guru: The concept of "big data" doesn't intimidate you. You’re able to run efficient code to analyze large quantities of data.
In This Role, You Will:
- Partner with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver a product.
- Leverage a broad stack of technologies, such as Python, AWS, Spark, and more to explore insights and patterns with large volumes of data.
- Build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
- Work cross-functionally to identify business opportunities for data science, collecting appropriate labels for learning, establishing actionable metrics, and creating reusable model validations and risk mitigation.
- Communicate results to key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in open-source programming languages for large scale data analysis.
- Experience with machine learning.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude, Codex, or GitHub Copilot in a professional setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud providers.
- At least 2 years of experience in Python or R for large scale data analysis.
- At least 2 years of experience with machine learning.
- At least 2 years of experience with custom code-driven machine learning projects using packages such as XGBoost, pySpark.
- At least 2 years of experience with one of the following modeling techniques: regression, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, or feature selection.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with Elasticsearch.
Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $95,000 - $118,000 per year
